James MacLaurin visits the Amsterdam Centre for Dynamics and Computation

Dr. James MacLaurin (New Jersey Institute of Technology) will visit the Amsterdam Centre for Dynamics and Computation from the 17th of May to the 17th of July. James works on Stochastic Processes, Dynamical Systems, and Mathematical Biology.

During this time he will collaborate with local researchers on projects related to mathematical neuroscience and stochastic processes. He will give a half-day tutorial on Stochastic analysis of high dimensional interacting particle systems as well as the colloquium talk From puffs to waves: stochastic calcium dynamics

James's visit is part of our Visitor Program, that supports researchers from outside the Netherlands to visit the Center and collaborate with local researchers.
